Live streaming

Live streaming for conferences, events and businesses

Multi-camera live streams to YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn or a private page. Run by a camera operator from live television, with extra crew when the job needs it.

Live is what we know

Our background is live television, where there is no second take and the audience notices every mistake. We bring the same habits to your stream: test everything early, plan a backup for the things that most often fail (internet, power and sound), and stay calm when a speaker goes off script.

How we stream

Two or three cameras feed a hardware vision mixer (we use Blackmagic ATEM kit, our own or hired for the day), which sends the stream straight to the platform without relying on a laptop. A monitor shows every camera, what is going out live and the sound levels, so we see problems before your audience does.

We take sound from the venue's desk or bring our own microphones, add your slides, logos and name captions, and record the whole programme so you have it the same day.

Where it goes

Public streams go to YouTube, Facebook or LinkedIn. LinkedIn Live needs your page to be approved first; we check that when you book. Private streams go to an unlisted link on a password-protected page on your website, which keeps them off public channels and out of search. For paid or confidential events, we set up a platform with individual logins. Zoom and Teams webinars can be fed from our cameras too.

The one thing we always ask a venue for is a wired internet connection. Where the venue cannot provide one, we can bring mobile data backup and hire bonded 5G units for the day.

Still called webcasting?

Some people still call this webcasting, and it is the same thing: your event, live on the internet, with good pictures and clear sound. We have been doing it since the days it was called that.

Questions

Live streaming: FAQs

What internet do you need?

A wired connection with at least 10 Mbps upload is ideal. We test it before the day. If the venue cannot provide one, we bring mobile data backup or hire a bonded 5G unit.

Can the stream be private?

Yes. The stream sits on a password page on your website and is not public or searchable. For tickets or confidential briefings, we use individual logins.

Can remote speakers join?

Yes. A remote speaker can join by video call and appear in the stream alongside the people in the room.

Do we get the recording?

Yes, the full recording, normally the same day, and an edited highlights version if you book it.
