Terms

Terms of business.

Last updated October 2026.

Plain terms for working with us. If anything here is unclear, ask before you book.

These terms are for business and organisation customers. We do not take bookings from consumers.

Booking and payment

  • Sending a booking request costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
  • We confirm the date, the price and what is included by email. Your booking is made when you accept that confirmation and pay the deposit.
  • The deposit is a quarter of the price. We invoice the rest on delivery. It is due within 14 days of the invoice.
  • Monthly plans are billed at the start of each month. After the minimum term they continue month to month until either of us gives 30 days' notice.
  • All prices exclude VAT. Evenings, weekends and bank holidays add 20%.
  • Travel is included anywhere in the East and West Midlands. Further afield we charge 55p a mile, agreed before booking.

Changing or cancelling

  • You can move your date once, free of charge, with at least 7 days' notice.
  • Cancel more than 14 days before the shoot and we refund your deposit in full.
  • Cancel within 14 days of the shoot and the deposit is kept, because we will have turned other work away.
  • If we ever have to cancel, you get a full refund or a new date, your choice.

Changes to the edit

Each package says how many rounds of changes are included. If a package does not say, one round of changes is included. Further changes, or changes to the brief after filming, are charged at our edit rate, agreed with you first.

Your videos

  • Once paid for, you can use the finished videos online and on social media, for any business purpose, for as long as you like.
  • For TV, cinema, radio or paid ads outside social platforms, tell us before the edit so the music is licensed for it.
  • We do not show your video publicly, in our portfolio or anywhere else, without your permission.
  • We normally keep the raw footage for 6 months after delivery, in case you need more edits.

On the day

  • You make sure we can get into the location, and that the people being filmed know how the film will be used and have agreed. We bring release forms and can help on the day.
  • For live streams, the venue's internet is outside our control. We test it beforehand and bring backup, but cannot be responsible for a venue connection failing.
  • If a drone is booked through us, the flight depends on location, airspace and weather. If it cannot fly safely, we do not charge for it.

Liability

Our total liability for any job is limited to the price of that job. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
